XRP's rebound reversed and pushed the price back toward $1.28 and a key demand zone. The rejection from descending resistance keeps the bearish structure intact, and buyers need a stronger response to prevent another leg lower.
XRP's latest rebound has sharply reversed, pushing the price back toward $1.28. The move stalled at descending resistance, which keeps the bearish structure intact.
Daily chart shows lower highs
On the daily timeframe, XRP remains within a descending channel following its September peak. The recent recovery toward $1.37–$1.40 hit the channel's upper boundary before reversing. Consecutive bearish candles then pushed the price back into the highlighted $1.25–$1.32 demand zone.
Buyers failed to sustain the recovery from this region, which previously supported a meaningful rebound. A decisive daily close below $1.25 would confirm a loss of the demand zone and could expose $1.20, followed by the next highlighted support area around $1.09–$1.14.
However, holding demand and reclaiming $1.32 would provide an initial improvement. Ripple would still need to overcome descending resistance and the $1.37–$1.40 rejection area, and the broader $1.48–$1.53 supply zone remains a significant barrier beyond that.
Four-hour chart points to a failed breakout
The 4-hour chart highlights a liquidity sweep above the earlier high near $1.39. XRP briefly moved into the $1.38–$1.40 supply zone, where descending channel resistance added confluence. The rapid reversal beneath the prior high suggests a failed breakout, followed by renewed bearish momentum.
The price is now testing the upper boundary of the $1.25–$1.28 demand zone. A limited bounce remains possible, but another test of $1.25 stays the main near-term risk. Losing that boundary would expose fresh lows and potentially extend the move toward the channel's lower trendline.
For buyers to improve the short-term outlook, XRP needs to recover $1.30–$1.32 and establish a higher low. Even then, the $1.38–$1.40 supply zone remains the key hurdle to a more convincing reversal.
