US spot XRP ETFs added $4.25 million last week while Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana ETFs recorded net outflows. XRP's price, however, still faces resistance at $1.40.
US spot XRP ETFs took in $4.25 million last week, the first inflow since investors withdrew $1.84 million a week earlier. Flows had been positive for 13 weeks before that withdrawal.
The inflow came despite net outflows from Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana ETFs. AMBCrypto says this seems to indicate that some investors were willing to buy again after a brief pause.
XRP ETF assets near $1.5 billion
The XRP ETF net asset value currently stands at nearly $1.5 billion. However, the most recent additions remain modest relative to that total. Continued weekly inflows would strengthen evidence of renewed institutional demand.
XRP stalls at $1.40 resistance
XRP remains in a long-term downtrending channel and keeps creating lower highs. Buyers rallied off a low at $1.2532 toward $1.40, where descending trendline resistance triggered another rejection.
A second attempt at $1.40 failed at the same line. Prices dropped back through $1.35 and $1.32 toward $1.3141, and buyers currently have been unable to take control.
The MACD histogram has produced slight positives recently, which could point to short-term momentum improvements. Both lines still trade below zero. Recent ETF inflows may somewhat mitigate selling near support.
Liquidation clusters sit around $1.32 to $1.34
The heatmap shows concentrated liquidity between $1.32 and $1.34. These clusters could be wiped out if XRP pushes toward $1.40. Another cluster near the $1.29–$1.30 zone could attract price during a pullback.
For XRP to challenge its bearish trend, the source says it needs greater ETF inflows and a break through resistance at $1.40.
